About Thea Eldred

I am a landscape artist and ecological consultant based in Dunkeld, Scotland. Originally from the southwest of Ireland, I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by the wild beauty of the Kerry countryside. My parents, both artists who run Glenflesk Art Gallery, taught me to paint from a very young age, nurturing a lifelong connection to art and nature.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of exhibiting my work in various settings, including two sell-out exhibitions at the Malton Hotel in Killarney. Today, I live and work in Scotland, where the dramatic landscapes, changing light, and rich natural textures continue to inspire my work. The Scottish scenery, much like the Irish landscapes of my childhood, fuels my creative process and deepens my appreciation for the natural world.
